Ruo-yu ZHANG, Hong-lin ZHAO, Shao-bo JIA

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2017, Volume 18, Issue 12,   Pages 2082-2100 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1601635

Abstract: To reduce the overwhelming pilot overhead in such systems, a structured joint channel estimation schemeestimation quality can be improved. Moreover, a structured joint matching pursuit (SJMP) algorithm at the BS is proposed to jointly estimatethe channel of users with reduced pilot overhead.Furthermore, the probability upper bound of common support recovery and the upper bound of channel estimation

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2017, Volume 18, Issue 6,   Pages 841-849 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1700025

Abstract: We propose a novel method for joint two-dimensional (2D) direction-of-arrival (DOA) and channel estimationThe conventional DOA estimation algorithms usually assume that the channel impulse responses are knownIn contrast, a joint DOA and channel estimation scheme is proposed, which first estimates the channelAfter that, the DOAs of the waves are estimated based on a unitary ESPRIT algorithm using previous channelimpulse response estimates instead of accurate channel impulse responses and then, the enhanced channel

Improving the Performance of OFDM Channel Estimation through Subspace Projecting and Tracking

Dong Liang,Cao Xiuying,Bi Guangguo

Strategic Study of CAE 2006, Volume 8, Issue 11,   Pages 86-93

Abstract:

The LS channel estimation of OFDM systems can be viewed as a noisy observation of the true channelIn this paper, the substance of the improvement of LS channel estimation is analyzed when subspace projectingestimation is given, based on which this method is exterded to non-LS channel estimation. When signal subspace varies with time, subspace tracking should be performed to maintain a good estimationsimulation shows that this channel estimator outperforms its nonparametric counterparts.
